Patagonia Scuba
Project explanation
Patagonia Scuba is an institutional website built for a diving center with over 30 years of history in Puerto Pirámides, Chubut. The site covers two main verticals: tourism experiences for recreational visitors (snorkeling, baptism dives, nautical tours, and certified dives across 5 dive sites) and high-end logistics services for audiovisual productions — clients include National Geographic, BBC, France TV, and Televisa. The site is bilingual (ES/EN), built with Astro v5 and deployed on Vercel.
I designed and developed the full site from scratch, including the information architecture, UI design, bilingual content structure, and deployment. The project required translating the client's dual audience — tourists and production companies — into two clearly differentiated sections with their own tone and visual identity.

Technical Challenges
- Dual Audience Architecture : Structuring a site that speaks equally well to a family booking a snorkeling trip and a BBC production coordinator looking for maritime logistics — without either feeling out of place.
- Bilingual Content Management in Astro : Implementing i18n routing and content management in Astro v5 to keep both language versions in sync across all pages and components.
- Translating a 30-Year Brand into a Modern UI : Capturing the identity of an established, family-run diving center while giving it a visual language that also appeals to high-profile international productions.
